Organize, guide, and spearhead the executive steering committee to ensure absolute event compliance, budget execution, and mission success.

Event Chair

The event chair organizes the committee, meetings, develops event goals and themes, appointing sub-committees, and educates their chairs on roles. Creats the event plan within the budget and advises the funding processes. 


Creates a timeline with a sub-committee, facilitate, and schedules meetings. Review marketing materials and funding plans of the treasurer. Ensure a fun and successful environment. On event day, monitor progress, address challenges, communicate changes and are always available. Evaluates the event and thanks participants and guests.


Event Committee

The Event Committee is made up of the Event Chair, Sub-Committee chairs, and interested organizations and community members. They are responsible to:


Create an event plan with clear goals and a funding strategy for sub-committee expenses. Ensure consistent communication on progress, approve decisions on the program, food, and marketing, and set ticket pricing and processes. Support sub-committees and actively participate on the event day, followed by an evaluation.
