Service Description

Making Music Matter For Kids acclaimed music production - Rock Schools On Tour gives students 2 hours of weekly band rehearsal with fellow rock school students. Live performances throughout the year. All students in the Performance Program have the opportunity to audition for a spot in Rock School. Once selected, House Band members become leaders in their Schools community and perform weekly shows at "The Place" that's Making Music Matter For Kids. Opportunity to open for regional and national acts and weekly events. Making Music Matter For Kids 21st century music education makes learning fun and exciting. In today's modern world of acclaimed music programs, we provide young people with the tools they need for success. Students master the basics while playing music they enjoy. Songs are chosen to highlight the skills needed to build a strong foundation on a respective student's musical instrument. After a few weeks of lessons most students are ready for the challenge of a live performance and are encouraged to take part in all of our programs! Rock School offers Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall music programs. These programs are designed for musicians of all skill levels. This program is designed to hone in on the students music performance and skills in a creative and fun environment. We know from experience that playing in a band situation speeds learning and creates inspired seasoned musicians. Even relatively advanced musicians are amazed at the amount of progress they make when regularly playing with other musicians. The Performance Program is Rock Schools School of Rock's acclaimed music program, where students enroll each year. Weekly group rehearsals where kids and teens learn by playing todays most iconic songs with their peers. Students are assigned songs and parts that are tailored to them based on experience and ability to learn new skills and concepts. Students then work through their parts in weekly private music lessons, and refine the skills and concepts that those songs introduce. The goal of this curriculum is to prepare kids and teens for live performances. Each week students take the stage and play at "The Place" venues in front of a live audience.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation/missed lesson Policy: Students are responsible for all scheduled lessons. If a conflict occurs and it is prior to 24 hour notice, you may reschedule the lesson. Lessons that are cancelled/missed without a 24 hour notice may not be able to be rescheduled. Lessons may be rescheduled for the same week or may be doubled up on the next lessons (if available). If we have to cancel a lesson, it can either be reschedule or credit will be given for the lesson to the next month.
