Rock Schools guitar instructors teach lessons to beginners starting with the fundamentals. Basic scales, chords, tuning, arpeggios and rhythm patterns. By using the students favorite rock songs to help inspire the guitar students early stages of development learning. Rock School beginner guitar lessons ignite the creativity that all beginners need to develop their craft into a more advanced styles for learning. After a few weeks of private guitar lessons, guitar students are encouraged to participate in Rock Schools On Tour a live band performance rehearsals program. Live performance based music education programs has been Rock Schools successful approach for many years. BEGINNER GUITAR LESSONS - After a few weeks of private guitar lessons, guitar students are encouraged to participate in Rock Schools On Tour a live band performance rehearsals program. INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED - Rock Schools intermediate guitar lessons are tailored to build on the skills that students have developed through the beginner lessons. Transitioning from intermediate to advanced guitar lessons students are able to move smoothly between the fundamental open chords and power cords, basic Major minor bar chord shapes, knowing the notes on the low E & A strings, basic strumming patterns, play along to a metronome, hear and match Major minor chords, identifying the key to simple songs, understand and apply theory, play through several complete songs, play blues scale, Major scale, Major minor pentatonic, basic lead technique picking, bending, sliding, vibrato, reading guitar tab and chord charts. Intermediate students are now eligible to participate in live performances. ADVANCED GUITAR LESSONS - Rock School's advanced guitar lessons are tailored to building on the skills that students have developed in their beginner guitar lesson course and have transitioned from intermediate to Rock Schools advanced course. Giving students under 18 the opportunity to join a gigging band

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation/missed lesson Policy: Students are responsible for all scheduled lessons. If a conflict occurs and it is prior to 24 hour notice, you may reschedule the lesson. Lessons that are cancelled/missed without a 24 hour notice may not be able to be rescheduled. Lessons may be rescheduled for the same week or may be doubled up on the next lessons (if available). If we have to cancel a lesson, it can either be reschedule or credit will be given for the lesson to the next month.
