Rock Schools keyboard lessons are much different from traditional 19 century beginner piano lessons that most students end up uninspired and left wanting to quit. Rock Schools beginner keyboard/piano teachers get their students to love the fundamentals, simply by starting their students off with basic concepts and skills like finger placement, chord progressions, scales, pedaling, key differentiation and rhythm patterns and using the students favorite rock song coordinating the techniques they are learning to help inspire the piano students early stages of learning development for success. After a few weeks of private keyboard lessons, students are encouraged to participate in Rock Schools On Tour a live band rehearsal program. Live performance based music education has been Rock Schools successful approach for many years and has done so for over 20 years. INTERMEDIATE - intermediate piano lessons are tailored to build on the skills that students have developed through the beginner lessons. Transitioning from intermediate to advanced piano lessons students are able to move smoothly between the fundamental basic Major minor chord, knowing the center notes on the keyboard, basic patterns, play along to a metronome, hear and match Major minor chords, identifying the key to simple songs, understand and apply theory, play through several complete songs, play blues scale, Major scale, Major minor pentatonic, basic improve solo and techniques and reading charts. Intermediate students are now eligible to participate in live performances. ADVANCED KEYBOARD LESSONS - Rock School's advanced Piano lessons are tailored to building on the skills that students have developed. Rock Schools performance program have the opportunity to audition for a spot in Rock School's House Band

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation/missed lesson Policy: Students are responsible for all scheduled lessons. If a conflict occurs and it is prior to 24 hour notice, you may reschedule the lesson. Lessons that are cancelled/missed without a 24 hour notice may not be able to be rescheduled. Lessons may be rescheduled for the same week or may be doubled up on the next lessons (if available). If we have to cancel a lesson, it can either be reschedule or credit will be given for the lesson to the next month.
